Log the fuel trims and corrections at many different points and correct them with the ve numbers for -3 to -4. Oh and I can connect to car and start logging with the logger so the drivers are good and all that stuff, just can't read ecu. First step is zeroing the maf and tuning the ve table. I don't know what to do now, like I said I even tried downloading old version again but it automatically gave me the new version and something is screwed up. This is an issue since I don't have a copy of the current tune since things were adjusted recently to get my fueling correct on a dyno and the tuner's laptop was used. I deleted program and downloaded again (actually clicked a link that said 2.6) but it downloaded the new version again. The little chip for read is shaded out, only the one next to it for "write to vehicle" is lit up. Opened it up, hooked my cable to the car and turned the key on like normal but I don't have the option to "read vehicle" now. The 'Hall of Records' for all things holy and related to this stuff. The HP Tuner website has an archive called the repository. I downloaded again which ended up being the new version. We have to find a vehicle with an operating system that already has flex fuel capability and is also compliant with the ECU found in the 2004 GTO. Well I had an issue with computer so had to remove some stuff in the process and HP was lost. I had the old version of HP on my laptop (Surface Pro 3) don't remember 2.6 maybe? Been holding off on the newest 3.x version. Something wrong with HPTuners forum, tried posting this twice and giving up so maybe I can get help here.
